Thaumatophyllum xanadu, previously known by the synonym Philodendron xanadu, is a perennial plant in the arum family Araceae. It is native to southern Brazil and Paraguay, and is widely grown as a landscape plant in tropical, subtropical, and warm temperate climates. It is cultivated as a landscape plant in tropical, subtropical, and warm temperate regions, including warmer areas of the United States such as Florida, Hawaii, and California, as well as South Africa, Australia, and northern New Zealand. In cooler regions, it is grown as a houseplant.
