About Teucrium gnaphalodes L'Hér.
Teucrium gnaphalodes L'Hér. is a plant species belonging to the genus Teucrium. This species is endemic to the Iberian Peninsula, and grows at altitudes ranging from 200 meters to 1500 meters. Its flowering period runs from March through July. A range of flavonoid compounds have been found in this plant. These include the flavones diosmin, cirsimaritin, salvigenin, cirsilineol, cirsiliol, luteolin, and apigenin, plus the flavanone naringenin. It also contains the flavone glycosides luteolin-7-O-β-D-glucoside and apigenin-7-O-β-D-glucoside, and the diglycosides luteolin-7-O-β-D-rutinoside, luteolin-7-O-β-D-neohesperidoside (also called veronicastroside), and luteolin-7-O-β-D-sambubioside.
