About Tetratheca ciliata Lindl.

Tetratheca ciliata, commonly called pink bells, is a small shrub species that belongs to the Elaeocarpaceae family. It is endemic to southern Australia. The shrub can reach a maximum height of 100 cm. Within its native range, it produces deep lilac-pink flowers between October and November. English botanist John Lindley first formally described this species in 1838, in the publication Three Expeditions into the interior of Eastern Australia. It can be found growing in Western Australia, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria, and New South Wales.
