Tauschia arguta, with the scientific name Tauschia arguta (Torr. & A.Gray) J.F.Macbr., is a perennial herb. It reaches a height of 30 to 70 centimeters. Its leaves have blades divided into several toothed leaflets, and the leaves are borne on long petioles. Its inflorescence is a compound umbel made up of yellow flowers, with up to 25 rays that each measure 2 to 12 centimeters long. The fruit of this plant is almost a centimeter long and features deep longitudinal ribs.
