Tarlmounia is a plant genus that belongs to the Asteraceae family. The genus contains only one species, Tarlmounia elliptica, which has two taxonomic synonyms: Vernonia elliptica and V. elaeagnifolia. This species is native to India, Burma, and Thailand, and has become naturalised in southern Taiwan and Queensland, Australia. Its common names are curtain creeper, vernonia creeper, and parda bel.
