Talavera petrensis is a species of jumping spider in the genus Talavera. It was first formally described by Carl Ludwig Koch in 1837, under the original name Euophrys petrensis. This species has a wide distribution that stretches from Europe through Central Asia to China. It has been recorded from a large range spanning from Europe, through numerous European countries, eastward into Central Asia, and reaching China. Within China, it has specifically been found in Xinjiang province.
