Synchlora gerularia (Hübner) is a moth species that belongs to the family Geometridae. Its distribution ranges from Texas, located in the southern United States, through Central America, all the way to Argentina in South America. This species can also be found on the Antilles. The wingspan of Synchlora gerularia measures approximately 16 to 20 mm. The larvae of this moth feed on a variety of species in the plant family Asteraceae, including Baccharis genistelloides and Baccharis salicina.
