About Sympistis dinalda Smith, 1908
Sympistis dinalda is a moth species in the family Noctuidae, first described by Smith in 1908. This species is found in boreal and subboreal regions of Canada. Previously, it was classified as Homohadena infixa dinalda, a subspecies of Homohadena infixa. In 2008, it was reclassified: it was elevated to full species rank and moved to the genus Sympistis. The wingspan of Sympistis dinalda ranges from 30 to 35 mm.
