Symphyotrichum moranense (Kunth) G.L.Nesom, previously classified as Aster moranensis, is a species of flowering plant in the Asteraceae family. It is a perennial herbaceous plant that grows to approximately 90 centimeters (35 inches) in height. This species produces white ray florets that bloom from October through April, and it is native to Mexico. It is native to the Mexican states of Aguascalientes, Chihuahua, Durango, Guanajuato, Guerrero, Hidalgo, Jalisco, México, Michoacán, Morelos, Nayarit, Oaxaca, Puebla, Querétaro, San Luis Potosí, Sinaloa, Tlaxcala, Veracruz, and Zacatecas, as well as the Distrito Federal. It grows in grasslands and woodlands at elevations between 1,000 and 2,750 meters (3,280 to 9,020 feet).
