Suniana sunias (Felder, 1860) is a butterfly species belonging to the family Hesperiidae. This species is distributed across Indonesia (including Papua and Maluku), Australia (including New South Wales, the Northern Territory, and Queensland), Papua New Guinea, and the Solomon Islands. The wingspan of adult Suniana sunias is approximately 25 millimeters. The larvae of this butterfly feed on Sorghum verticilliflorum, Paspalum urvillei, Panicum maximum, Leersia hexandra, and other species within the genus Leersia. Larval individuals rest inside a shelter constructed from blades of their host plant that are joined together with silk.
