About Strumaria tenella (L.f.) Snijman

Strumaria tenella (L.f.) Snijman is a species of flowering plant belonging to the Amaryllidaceae family. It is native to Lesotho, as well as the Cape Provinces and Free State region of South Africa. It was first formally described by Carl Linnaeus the Younger in 1782 under the name Crinum tenellum. The inflorescence it produces, which bears white flowers, has been described as noticeably starry in appearance.
