Stromanthe stromanthoides (J.F.Macbr.) L.Andersson is a plant species belonging to the family Marantaceae. It is native to Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and northern Brazil. This species was first formally described by James Francis Macbride, and was given its current accepted name by Bengt Lennart Andersson.

Stromanthe stromanthoides has a number of recorded uses. It has been used medicinally to treat abscesses, diarrhea, and tumors. It is used in craft work, including for making hats. It is also grown as an ornamental plant, and its materials are used for wrapping and roofing. In some regions of Colombia, the leaves of this plant are also used to make a traditional tea.
