About Steniodes declivalis Dyar, 1914
Steniodes declivalis is a species of moth in the family Crambidae. It was formally described by Harrison Gray Dyar Jr. in 1914. This moth is found in Panama, Costa Rica, and Venezuela. Its wingspan measures approximately 13 millimeters. Adult Steniodes declivalis are similar in appearance to Steniodes gelliasalis, but differ by being smaller and darker in color. Their hindwings have a distinct whitish outer line that is sharply angled and touches the outer margin of the wing.
