Starnoenas cyanocephala, formally described by Linnaeus in 1758, is a bird species that measures 30 to 33 centimeters in length. It has a mostly cinnamon-brown body, a bright blue crown, a black eye stripe, and a white facial stripe. A black gorget on the throat is narrowly edged with white markings, and the sides of the bird have blue mottling. This species is endemic to Cuba. Its natural habitats are lowland forests and swampy areas, and it may occasionally be found in highland forests.
