Spilosoma latipennis, commonly known as the pink-legged tiger moth or the red-legged diacrisia, is a moth species belonging to the family Erebidae. This species was first described by Richard Harper Stretch in 1872. It is native to eastern North America, with confirmed records from the following locations: Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, New Brunswick, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Ontario, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. The wingspan of adult moths is approximately 38 millimeters. Adult individuals can be seen in flight from April through September. The larvae of Spilosoma latipennis feed on a variety of plant species, including ash trees, dandelions, impatiens, and plantain.
