Sphinx libocedrus, commonly known as the incense cedar sphinx, is a moth species that belongs to the Sphingidae family. This species was first formally described by Henry Edwards in 1881. Its distribution extends from western Texas through southern California into Mexico. The larvae of this moth feed on New Mexican forestiera (Forestiera neomexicana), Forestiera angustifolia, and Fraxinus gooddingii, all of which are members of the olive family Oleaceae.
