Smerinthus saliceti, commonly known as the Salicet sphinx, is a moth species belonging to the family Sphingidae. This species was first formally described by Jean Baptiste Boisduval in 1875. Its distribution range spans from Mexico City northward to western Texas, Arizona, and the extreme southern part of California, where it occurs in valleys and along streamsides.
