About Sisyrinchium idahoense E.P.Bicknell
Sisyrinchium idahoense E.P.Bicknell grows in typically moist grassy areas, open woodlands, and along stream banks, at elevations below 2,400 metres (7,900 ft). This species reaches a height of 6 to 18 inches, and bears narrow, grass-like leaves. Its flowers usually have a deep bluish purple to blue-violet, or pale blue color, are rarely white, and always have a yellow throat.
