It has a distribution ranging from India to Taiwan, and its range additionally includes Sundaland, the Philippines, Sulawesi, Hong Kong, Fujian, Guangxi, Hainan, the area from Sikkim to Burma, Thailand, Laos, specific regions of India (Meghalaya, Alipurduar, Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri and Nagaland), Bangladesh, and Sunderland.
