Silene parryi (S.Watson) C.L.Hitchc. & Maguire is a plant species in the family Caryophyllaceae, commonly called Parry's silene. This species grows from southern British Columbia and Alberta in Canada, south to Oregon and east to Colorado and western Montana in the United States. It is most frequently found at elevations between 4,000 and 11,000 feet (1,200 to 3,400 m). Silene parryi is a pubescent, glandular perennial herb, growing 200 to 400 mm (8 to 16 inches) tall. Its calyx is tubular, 12 to 16 mm (0.5 to 0.6 inches) long, marked with ten contrasting nerves, and it inflates as the plant develops fruit. The five-lobed flowers of this species are white, and sometimes have a purple or green tinge.
