Endemic Range
This species is endemic to the Western Cape of South Africa, where its range extends from Moorreesburg to Klipheuwel near Paarl.
Size and Flowering Period
The shrub reaches a height of 1.0 meter and blooms from July to October.

After a fire, new growth sprouts from the plant's roots.
