About Serrodes campana Guenée, 1852
This species, Serrodes campana Guenée, 1852, has a wingspan of approximately 80 mm. The head, thorax, and the basal and outer areas of the forewings are brown, and its markings are larger than those of other related species. On the forewings, there is a sub-basal dark red-brown spot located on the costa, with a line extending from its lower edge. A similar antemedial spot and a large lunule are found below the cell, with a strongly excurved line extending from its lower edge. The reniform mark is broken into multiple tessellated spots that have pale edges, with rufous marks present on the costa above it. There is a double straight postmedial line that is angled below the costa. The abdomen and hindwings are fuscous. The hindwings have traces of a medial pale line, and the cilia are paler at the apex and anal angle. The larva is ochreous blue grey with bluish-black speckles. Its first abdominal segment is black and swollen, and all of its legs are ochreous. The larvae feed on species from the genera Lepisanthes, Nephelium, Sapindus, Schleichera and Acer.
