About Senecio vagus F.Muell.

Senecio vagus F.Muell., commonly known as saw groundsel, is a species of flowering plant that belongs to the daisy family, Asteraceae. It is an erect perennial herb that can grow up to 1.5 metres tall. This species is found in the Australian states of New South Wales, Victoria, and Tasmania. It occurs most often in moist gullies along the Great Dividing Range. Its yellow flowers typically bloom during spring and summer. The lectotype of this species was collected in the Dandenong Ranges in 1853 by Ferdinand von Mueller.
