About Sedum litoreum Guss.

Sedum litoreum Guss. is a succulent annual herb species belonging to the Crassulaceae family. Individual plants of this species can reach a height of 3.7 cm. It is native to the central and eastern Mediterranean region, ranging from Corsica and Sardinia through Italy, Sicily, former Yugoslavia, Albania, Greece, the Greek Islands, Turkey, and Cyprus, to the Levant. Two subspecies are currently accepted: Sedum litoreum var. creticum 't Hart, which occurs in Crete, and Sedum litoreum var. litoreum, which is found across the central and eastern Mediterranean.
