About Scymnus interruptus (Goeze, 1777)
Scymnus interruptus is a species of beetle that belongs to the family Coccinellidae. This species is originally native to the West Palearctic region. It was later introduced into the United States to be used as a biological control agent, and has since spread to other regions of the New World. It has been officially recorded in the South American countries of Chile and Ecuador.
