Scudderia mexicana, commonly known as the Mexican bush katydid, is a species of phaneropterine katydid that belongs to the family Tettigoniidae. Adult individuals of this species measure 30–38 mm in total length and have slender wings. Nymphs of this species have a distinct horn located between their antennae. Their diet consists of leaves, including leaves from big-leaf mahogany.
