Scopula umbilicata, commonly known as the swag-lined wave moth, is a moth species belonging to the family Geometridae. It was first officially described by Johan Christian Fabricius in 1794. Its range extends from the southern United States—including Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Oklahoma, and Texas—through the West Indies (including Puerto Rico) and into South America. This moth has a wingspan of approximately 18 millimeters, and its wings are white with sparse dark speckling.
