About Scopula perlata (Walker, 1861)
Scopula perlata, commonly called the cream wave, is a moth species belonging to the family Geometridae. Francis Walker first formally described this species in 1861. This moth is found in Australia, including the Australian states and territories of Tasmania, New South Wales, South Australia, and Victoria, and it also occurs in Indonesia. The adult wingspan of Scopula perlata measures around 20 millimeters. Researchers have successfully reared the species' larvae using Myosotis arvensis as a food source.
