About Scirpus georgianus R.M.Harper

Scirpus georgianus, commonly known as Georgia bulrush, is a species of flowering plant belonging to the family Cyperaceae. This species is distributed across most of the eastern half of North America. It grows in wet, marshy field habitats that are prone to seasonal flooding. It was first formally described by Roland McMillan Harper, and it is sometimes mistaken for the related species Scirpus hattorianus.
