Distribution Range
This species is native to the Mexican states of Guerrero, Michoacán, Morelos, Oaxaca, and Puebla.
Habitat Parameters
Its preferred natural habitat is rocky areas within forest and shrubland, found at altitudes ranging from 1,000 to 1,800 m (3,300 to 5,900 ft).
Reproduction Mode
S. gadoviae reproduces by laying eggs (it is oviparous).
Clutch Characteristics
Its typical clutch size is approximately four eggs, and each egg measures about 14 mm by 7.5 mm (0.55 in by 0.30 in).
