Endemism

This species is endemic to Mexico.

Mainland Distribution

It is native to coastal regions of the Yucatán Peninsula, where it has been recorded in Yucatán, Quintana Roo, and the northernmost part of Campeche.

Island Range and Elevation

It can also be found on the islands of Cozumel, Isla Contoy, and Isla Mujeres, and occurs from sea level up to 50 meters in elevation.
