Scaphiodontophis annulatus, common name the Guatemala neckband snake, is a species of snake belonging to the family Colubridae. This species is native to southern Mexico, Central America, and Colombia, and four subspecies of it are currently recognized. S. annulatus occurs in Mexico, Belize, Colombia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. Its preferred natural habitat is forest, at altitudes ranging from sea level up to 1,200 meters (3,900 feet). S. annulatus reproduces via being oviparous, meaning it lays eggs.
