Scalesia affinis Hook.fil. is a species of flowering plant belonging to the family Asteraceae. This species is endemic to the Galápagos Islands of Ecuador. It is one of the most widely distributed species in the Scalesia genus, and it grows on four major Galápagos islands: Fernandina Island, Isabela Island, Santa Cruz Island, and Floreana Island. The largest portion of the species' overall distribution is found on Isabela Island. Populations from Santa Cruz and Floreana Islands show both morphological and genetic divergence from populations found on Fernandina and Isabela Islands.
