About Scaevola crassifolia Labill.

Scaevola crassifolia Labill. is a shrub species belonging to the Goodeniaceae plant family, native to the regions of Western Australia and South Australia. This species has three widely used common names: cushion fanflower, thick-leaved fanflower, and thick-leaved scaevola. Mature plants grow to 1.5 metres in height and reach up to 3 metres in width. In its native range, it produces white, blue, or pale purple flowers between July and February each year. Scaevola crassifolia is very closely related to and resembles Scaevola nitida. The main differences between the two are that Scaevola nitida grows into a larger shrub, and has thinner leaves.
