About Sawadaea tulasnei (Fuckel) Homma

This fungus forms dense, white patches with sharp edges on the leaves of its host plants. Sawadaea tulasnei infects multiple species within the genus Acer; confirmed host examples include Acer platanoides, Acer macrophyllum, and Acer tataricum. Some of these Acer host species can also be infected by other species in the Sawadaea genus.
