Saucrobotys fumoferalis, commonly known as the dusky saucrobotys moth, is a moth species belonging to the family Crambidae. This species was first described by George Duryea Hulst in 1886. It is native to North America, with recorded populations ranging from Nova Scotia westward to British Columbia, northward to Yukon, and southward to Pennsylvania, Illinois, and California. Its typical habitats include boreal forests, mixed forests, and woodlots. The wingspan of adult individuals is approximately 30 mm. Adult moths have been observed in flight from April through September. The larvae of this species feed on plants from the genus Carya.
