Sanicula laciniata Hook. & Arn. is a flowering plant species in the family Apiaceae. Its common names are coastal blacksnakeroot, laceleaf sanicle, and coast sanicle. This species is distributed along the Central and North Coast Ranges of California, and its range extends into southern Oregon. A well-documented location where it grows is Ring Mountain in Marin County, California. At this site, it can be found growing alongside poison sanicle, Pacific sanicle, and many other forbs.
