About Sanguisorba menziesii Rydb.

Sanguisorba menziesii Rydb., commonly called Menzies' burnet, Sanguisorbe de Menzies, and small-head burnet, is a flowering plant species belonging to the Rosaceae family. It is a perennial helophyte native to northwestern North America, where it occurs in Alaska, British Columbia, and Washington. It grows in coastal bogs and marshes, ranging from coastal southern Alaska through coastal British Columbia to the Olympic Peninsula of Washington, specifically in Grays Harbor and Clallam counties. This species was first formally described by Per Axel Rydberg in 1908.
