Salix taraikensis Kimura, commonly called Taraikayanagi in Japanese, is a willow species. Its native range includes Hokkaido, Japan and Sakhalin, Russia, and it has also been recorded in the protected area surrounding Bogd Khan Mountain in Mongolia's Khentii Mountains. This species is a deciduous large shrub that can grow up to 5 meters tall.
