Salicornia perennis Mill., which has the synonym Sarcocornia perennis and is commonly called perennial glasswort, is a species of halophytic perennial plant in the Amaranthaceae family. It has a widespread but patchy native distribution. It can be found in parts of Western Europe, northern and southern Africa, North America ranging from southeast Alaska to southern Mexico, the Caribbean, and South America. It is native to the coasts of southern Britain and Ireland, and it is classified as nationally scarce in these areas. This species flowers from July to October.
