Salaria pavo, commonly known as the peacock blenny, is a species of combtooth blenny.

Native Distribution

It is found along the eastern Atlantic coast from France to Morocco, and also occurs in the Mediterranean Sea, Black Sea, and eastern Adriatic Sea.

Colonization Route

This species has colonized the northern Red Sea via anti-Lessepsian migration through the Suez Canal.

Maximum Size

The peacock blenny grows to a maximum total length of 13 centimeters (5.1 inches).
