Saenura is a genus of moths belonging to the subfamily Arctiinae. This genus contains only a single species: Saenura flava Wallengren, 1860. This species is sometimes commonly called the yellow ermine, and it is found in southern Africa. The larvae of Saenura flava feed on a variety of plant species, including Tagetes erecta, Senecio species, Cassia occidentalis, Cassia tomentosa, Tephrosia species, Acacia mearnsii, Ornithogalium eckloni, Protea multibracteata, Rubus pinnotus, Smilax species, and Lantana species.
