Rubus frondosus Bigelow is a North American blackberry species that belongs to the genus Rubus, which is part of the rose family. This species has been recorded in Ontario, Canada, as well as in the eastern and central United States. In the U.S., its range extends from Maine in the northeast south to Georgia in the southeast, and west as far as the states of Oklahoma, Nebraska, and Minnesota.
