About Rotanthella floridana (S.Watson ex A.Gray) Morin
Rotanthella floridana produces a purple corolla with five lobes. This plant reaches up to 15 inches (380 mm) in height, and grows in moist habitats. It has been documented growing at several locations: Big Cypress National Preserve, Collier-Seminole State Park, Corkscrew Regional Ecosystem Watershed, Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, and Fakahatchee Strand Preserve State Park.
