About Romanzoffia tracyi Jeps.

Romanzoffia tracyi Jeps. is a species of flowering plant belonging to the Hydrophyllaceae family. It is commonly known as Tracy's mistmaiden and Tracy's romanzoffia. This plant is native to the western North American coastline, ranging from far northern California north to the southern tip of Vancouver Island, where it grows among rocks on oceanside bluffs. It is a tufted plant that grows no taller than approximately 12 centimeters, with its aboveground growth emerging from a network of hairy brown tubers. Its leaves have rounded blades with notched lobes along their edges, and are carried on petioles that can be several centimeters long. The inflorescence is a short cyme holding funnel-shaped flowers, each just under one centimeter long.
