About Robsonodendron maritimum (Bolus) R.H.Archer
Robsonodendron maritimum, commonly called white silky bark or witsybas, is a small shrubby evergreen tree. It is native to coastal regions of South Africa; its natural distribution stretches along the coast from Cape Town all the way to the Eastern Cape. In areas with very strong winds, wind naturally shapes and effectively prunes this tree. Its flowers are bisexual.
