Ribes cynosbati L. is a plant that grows to a maximum height of 1.5 meters (4 feet 11 inches). It has stems that grow in an erect to spreading form. Its leaves have either 3 or 5 lobes, and are covered in glandular hairs. The flowers of this species are greenish-white. Its fruits are round, have a bristly texture, and range in color from white to greenish, and they have a pleasant flavor.
