Rhynchospora chapmanii M.A.Curtis, commonly called Chapman's beaksedge, is a species in the sedge family Cyperaceae. It is a perennial herb. This plant can be found in wetland habitats across the southeastern United States, ranging from North Carolina to Louisiana, and also grows in Belize, Cuba, Honduras, and Nicaragua. It reaches a maximum height of 28 inches. It is a common invasive species in recently logged or otherwise disturbed pine savannas. Its brown spikelets flower from June to November each year.
