Rhynchium brunneum is a species of potter wasp that is found in Asia. Across its broad distribution range, this species shows considerable variation in body patterning. Several subspecies of Rhynchium brunneum have been formally described. These described subspecies are: Rhynchium brunneum brunneum (Fabricius, 1793), Rhynchium brunneum ceylonicum Giordani Soika, 1994, and Rhynchium brunneum maladivum Gusenleitner, 2003.
