Rhododendron serrulatum (Small) Millais, also known by the scientific synonym Rhododendron viscosum var. serrulatum and the common name hammocksweet azalea, is a species of flowering plant in the Ericaceae family. It is native to the U.S. states of Alabama, Georgia, and Florida. There are unconfirmed records of it also growing in eastern Louisiana, Mississippi, the Carolinas, and Virginia. This species is a deciduous shrub that grows to a height of between 0.6 to 1.8 m, or 2 to 6 ft. It is most often found growing in bogs, pocosins, and wet flatwoods.
